The Kya Karun Mai Eska meme originates from the 2007 Bollywood movie Welcome. In the movie, Don Uday Shetty (the character played by Nana Patekar) says this dialogue to Don Sagar Pandey (the character played by Anil Kapoor) when Majnu Bhai went to the hospital without his knowledge to scare Dr Dayal Ghungroo by shooting around him. He says, “Arey Kya Karun Mai Eska? Maar Bhi Nahi Sakta Pyaar Jo Karta Hai Mujhse.” The popular use of Kya Karun Mai Eska meme is to mock the foolishness of a loved one.
