The Control Uday Control meme originates from 2007 Indian film Welcome. In this Bollywood movie, Don Uday Shetty (the character played by Nana Patekar) says this dialogue to himself when Advocate Harkesh Sahni interrupts his talks with a family with whom he intended to marry off his sister. Sahni fends off the boy’s family that enrages Uday when conveyed about the murder case which was going on the don. The popular use of Control Uday Control meme is to poke fun at someone who is trying to keep the cool or maintaining self-control.
