The Dono Alag Alag Hote Hain Kya meme originates from the 2019 Bollywood movie Dream Girl. In the movie, Rajpal Kirar(the character played by Vijay Raaz) says these lines to Pooja (the character played by Ayushmann Khurrana) when the inspector introduces himself as ‘Shayar’ in wrong pronunciation. In the screenshot which later turned to a meme, he says, “Dono Alag Alag Hote Hain Kya?”
