The Paisa Laya meme originates from the 2006 Bollywood movie Phir Hera Pheri. In the movie, Raju (the character played by Akshay Kumar) says these lines to Munnabhai (the character played by Rajpal Yadav) to enquire about the money which he promised to double in 25 days for Munnabhai. In one of the screenshots which later turned to a meme, he says, “Paisa Laya.”
